ബീ ഫ്രണ്ട്സ് വനിതാ ഫോറം ഈ വർഷത്തെ മാതൃദിനം മനോഹരവും സന്തോഷകരവും അവിസ്മരണീയവുമായ ഒരു ദിന യാത്രയോടെ ആഘോഷിച്ചു.
രാവിലെ 8:30 ഓടെ, പന്ത്രണ്ട് അമ്മമാർ സൂറിച്ച് ട്രെയിൻസ്റ്റെഷനിൽ ഒത്തുകൂടി, അവരുടെ പ്രത്യേക യാത്ര ആരംഭിച്ചു. ബീ ഫ്രണ്ട്സ് വനിതാ ഫോറം കോർഡിനേറ്റേഴ്സ് ശ്രദ്ധാപൂർവ്വം തയ്യാറാക്കി വിതരണം ചെയ്ത മനോഹരമായ മദേഴ്സ് ഡേ സമ്മാന പാക്കറ്റുകളോടെയാണ് ദിവസം ആരംഭിച്ചത്, ഇത് ഈ ദിവസത്തെ കൂടുതൽ അർത്ഥവത്താക്കി.

യാത്രയിലെ മുതിർന്ന അംഗം ശ്രീമതി സെലിൻ കാക്കശ്ശേരി മാതൃദിനത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് സംസാരിച്ചു, അമ്മമാരെയും അവരുടെ നിരുപാധികമായ സ്നേഹത്തെയും ത്യാഗങ്ങളെയും ആജീവനാന്ത പരിചരണത്തെയും ആദരിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള അർത്ഥവത്തായ അവസരമാണിതെന്ന് വിശേഷിപ്പിച്ചു. മാതൃത്വം ജൈവിക ബന്ധങ്ങൾക്കപ്പുറം സമൂഹത്തിലെ എല്ലാ പരിപോഷണപരമായ പങ്കുകളെയും ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്നുവെന്ന് അവർ എടുത്തുപറഞ്ഞു. കുടുംബബന്ധങ്ങൾ ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തേണ്ടതിന്റെയും ഒരു ദിവസം മാത്രമല്ല, ജീവിതത്തിലുടനീളം സ്ഥിരമായ പരിചരണം, ബഹുമാനം, വിലമതിപ്പ് എന്നിവയിലൂടെ അമ്മമാരോട് നന്ദി പ്രകടിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്റെയും പ്രാധാന്യവും അവർ ഊന്നിപ്പറഞ്ഞു.

പിന്നീട്, അടുത്തുള്ള ഒരു റസ്റ്റോറന്റിൽ ഒരുമിച്ച് രുചികരമായ ഇറ്റാലിയൻ ഉച്ചഭക്ഷണം ആസ്വദിച്ചു, കഥകൾ പങ്കുവെച്ചും, ചിരിയും, ഊഷ്മളമായ സൗഹൃദവും പങ്കിട്ടു. ഗുണനിലവാരമുള്ള സമയം ഒരുമിച്ച് ചെലവഴിച്ച ശേഷം, അതേ സന്തോഷകരമായ ആത്മാവും മറക്കാനാവാത്ത ഓർമ്മകളും വഹിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് സൂറിച്ചിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങി. വൈകുന്നേരം 6 മണിയോടെ എല്ലാവരും വീട്ടിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങുന്നതിന് മുമ്പ് കാപ്പി, കൂടുതൽ ഹൃദയംഗമമായ സംഭാഷണങ്ങൾ, പുഞ്ചിരി എന്നിവയോടെ ദിവസം അവസാനിച്ചു.
എല്ലാ അമ്മമാർക്കും ഇത് ശരിക്കും വിശ്രമവും ഹൃദയസ്പർശിയുമായ ഒരു ആഘോഷമായിരുന്നു – സൗഹൃദം, ചിരി, സംഗീതം, രുചികരമായ ഭക്ഷണം, വളരെക്കാലം വിലമതിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന മനോഹരമായ ഓർമ്മകൾ എന്നിവയാൽ നിറഞ്ഞ ഒരു ദിവസം.
ഭാവിയിൽ കൂടുതൽ യാത്രകൾ ഒരുമിച്ച് നടത്തുവാനുള്ള തയ്യാറെടുപ്പുകൾ ഉണ്ടെന്നു വനിതാ ഫോറം കോർഡിനേറ്റേഴ്സായ ജൂബി അലാനിക്കലും ,സിസ്സി കരിയപ്പുറവും സഹയാത്രികരെ അറിയിച്ചപ്പോൾ എല്ലാവരുടേയും പൂർണ്ണ സഹകരണം ഉറപ്പു നൽകി.

Mother’s Day Celebration Trip by Be Friends Women’s Forum 
The mothers of the Be Friends Women’s Forum celebrated this year’s Mother’s Day with a beautiful, joyful, and memorable day trip together.
Around 8:30 in the morning, twelve mothers gathered at Zurich Bahnhof to begin their special journey. The day started with lovely Mother’s Day gift packets thoughtfully prepared and distributed by the Be Friends team, making the occasion even more meaningful.
Our train journey to Lugano and Melide was filled with happiness, laughter, songs, games, and endless conversations. The togetherness and positive energy among everyone made the journey itself a wonderful experience. Even the gentle rain in Melide added a unique charm to the day as we walked together with umbrellas, clicked beautiful photographs, and enjoyed every precious moment.
Senior member of the Yatra, Mrs. Selin Kakkassery, spoke about Mother’s Day, describing it as a meaningful occasion to honour mothers and their unconditional love, sacrifices, and lifelong care. She highlighted that motherhood extends beyond biological ties to include all nurturing roles in society. She also stressed the importance of strengthening family bonds and showing gratitude to mothers not just on a single day, but throughout life through consistent care, respect, and appreciation.
One of the highlights of the trip was our visit to Swissminiatur — a fascinating miniature world that beautifully presents Switzerland’s famous landmarks, culture, and history in stunning detail. It was truly a delightful place that brought excitement and joy to everyone.
Later, the group enjoyed a delicious Italian lunch together at a nearby restaurant, sharing stories, laughter, and warm companionship. After spending quality time together, we travelled back to Zurich carrying the same cheerful spirit and unforgettable memories. The day concluded with coffee, more heartfelt conversations, and smiles before everyone returned home around 6 pm.
It was truly a relaxing and heartwarming celebration for all the mothers — a day filled with friendship, laughter, music, delicious food, and beautiful memories that will be cherished for a long time.
Looking forward to many more wonderful journeys and moments together in the future.
